How Do I Forward My Phones?

How you forward your phones depends on you and your preferences. The four most common ways that businesses prefer to forward their phones are:
Standard CaLive Answering Service Forward Phone Telephonell Forwarding: Generally, this is activated by manually dialing *72 from your primary office phone followed by your Direct Inbound Dial (DID) number we provide you. To disable, manually dial *73 from your primary office phone and the calls will be returned to your office. Alternatively, 72# and 73# may also be used. After enabling this call forwarding, all calls will immediately forward to the answering service. You can check your did this correctly by calling your office line and hearing an associate answer your call.
Busy Call Forwarding: This is activated by manually dialing *90 from your primary office phone followed by your Direct Inbound Dial (DID) number we provide for you. You can disable it by manually dialing *91. With this type of forwarding, your calls are forwarded to the answering service only when your line is busy. Alternatively, 90# and 91# may also be used.
Live Answering Service Handset Forwarding PhonesNo Answer Call Forwarding: This is activated by manually dialing *92 from your primaryoffice phone followed by your Direct Inbound Dial (DID) number we provide for you. You can disable it by manually dialing *93. With this type of forwarding, your calls are generally forwarded after 3-4 rings, or at a fixed number of rings you specify with your telephone service provider. To ensure your calls are answered quickly, we recommend setting the amount of rings no higher than 3-4. Alternatively, 92# and 93# may also be used.
Scheduled Call Forwarding: A feature many telephone service providers offer is allowing you to schedule when you would like calls to be forwarded to BES based on the time of day, busy tones, amount of rings to your office, or other conditions. An example would be to have your phones forward every night automatically at 5:00 PM and then unforward at 9:00 AM the next business day. We encourage you to check with your telephone provider for options in your area.
